The staff enjoyed 2 days of training, earlier this week, on how to improve the teaching of reading and writing. Pat Edgar from Australia joined us for the third year running to lead the workshops. She has observed teachers in the classrooms, given feedback and also discussed with teachers how we can use different strategies to ensure we are personalising the education for all the students in our care. She has also followed up on the work completed last year to ensure continual improvement. Pat has really provided us with some excellent quality control!
